Listen before you fix

Students learn to hear what distracts from a scene: uneven dialogue, an abrupt room change, music that arrives too soon or silence that has been removed too quickly.

We work from modest, achievable repairs. The aim is not to make every project glossy; it is to make each choice intentional.

Bring to your first lab session

1. A short edited sequence, even if it is unfinished.

2. Project files and a reference export with visible timecode.

3. One question about what the audience should hear or feel.
